Slow Food Causeway presents this intimate evening showcasing the very finest local slow food produce, paired with exquisite single origin chocolate.
Chef Patron of the acclaimed Tartine at the Distillers Arms in Bushmills, Gary Stewart will join the Chocolate Manor’s Chief Chocolatier, Geri Martin, to take guests through an exciting journey of savoury and sweet dishes, some of which will be paired with stunning wines.
Gary will introduce guests to Slow Food, through a selection of four tantalising tapas style dishes, some of which will incorporate the indulgent single origin chocolates available at The Chocolate Manor.
During the event guests will be introduced to Giant’s Basalt Gin, the Causeway’s newest Distillery, by founders James Richardson and Martha Garbe, who will be on hand to describe the unique distilling process they have designed to create this stunning new gin.
Guests will then explore the 5 steps to tasting chocolate, guided by chocolatier Geri, by savouring 10 sustainably sourced chocolates from across the globe, before sampling a selection of specially created gin truffles and treats, handcrafted by the Chocolate Manor team in Castlerock.
This event has been made possible with support from Slow Food Causeway – part of Taste Causeway – as well TourismN, Visit Causeway – and Fairley’s Wines
