Our Story

Our adventure has seen us grow from modest beginnings in a home kitchen on the North Coast of Ireland to working with 5 star restaurants and some of the biggest names in commercial life. We have even had several commissions for members of the Royal Family.

Everything we make is hand-crafted with love. Our skill and passion reflect the wisdom we have gained at leading chocolate education establishments.

We love to share that passion for chocolate and run hands-on making workshops for adults and children, chocolate tastings, and educational sessions on the origins of chocolate and our region’s unique connection to this indulgent treat.

Our new premises in Castlerock on Ireland’s North Coast have allowed us to make more chocolate and have given us space for our hands-on and unique Visitor Experiences and workshops.

In July 2020 we transformed the front space of our premises into a Chocolate Shop and Artisan Food Emporium, selling our own products alongside Taste Causeway produce.

In March 2022 we joined the illustrious Économusée network.

The definition of Économusée is ‘working museum’- more recognisable as Artisans at work.

The Économusée concept was developed in Québec and involves partners from Canada, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Haiti, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The Économusée project provides a network for artisans to develop and combine culture, craft and tourism, creating an economic interacting platform from which these artists can encourage the promotion and development of traditional crafts, involving local communities and creating new job opportunities, in some instances allowing younger family members to share, develop and enhance the crafts and techniques of their ancestors.  You can find our about our fellow Économusée artisans here.
