School, Community and Private Group Experiences

We’re passionate about chocolate and we want to share that with as many people as possible.

We will work with you to develop a tailored session for your group – we design sessions to suit all ages, abilities and needs – just ask!

Schools

We offer Educational Chocolate Experiences that can be linked to the curriculum. We deliver sessions suited to Nursery and Key Staged 1,2 and 3. We link to Geography (why chocolate only grows in certain regions) History (who discovered chocolate and our region’s special link to this), Science (how chocolate is made, and working with chocolate to make bars or unique products) and English (Roald Dahl or Charlie & the Chocolate Factory theme).

Experiences can range from one hour to a whole school day. We encourage schools to consider spending the day in the wonderful village of Castlerock; there’s chocolate-making experience with us, lunch on the beach, and just exploring this hidden gem on the North Coast. The train station is just a minute’s walk from our door and getting here from anywhere the province is easy.

School experiences start even before you arrive. We encourage teachers to have the children design their own chocolate bars, which we will then have ready for them to create on their arrival. In a full day’s experience, each child will get to make and take home at least two chocolate creation, as well as seeing, smelling and touching real cocoa beans and a cocoa pod, and enjoying a hot chocolate.

Group Experiences

Chocolate-making is the ideal experience for all sizes and types of groups. Over the years, we’ve welcomed youth and church groups, hen parties, community group outings, birthday parties, wellbeing retreats and every type of group you can imagine!

We can offer tailored versions of our Truffle Shuffle, Chocolate Box, Taste Causeway, Tastings and Pairing experiences to suit your group and their individual needs. We can facilitate groups from 6 to 20 at a time for these sessions.
